Holton Johnson
 
Music Director

Holton currently serves as the church’s pianist, and is a Student of Music Education at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He has received an associate of arts in music at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Hattiesburg, and is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Music Education Degree at USM. Holton has a well rounded performance career as he has performed with various ensembles. He has been a part of the world renowned Southern Chorale and performed in their 2019 Carnegie hall premiere of Tonu Korvits’ “Moorland Elegies”. He has also performed with the MGCCC Symphonic Winds as a guest artist in their annual spring concert. He is hired as ,and plays intermittently for, Mignon’s Fine Dining Restaurant’s Cocktail Pianist. Holton’s Goals are to continue to pursue his degree in Music Ed., as well as audition for the various military positions in music.
