Our Mission
Our passion at Columbia Presbyterian is to engage children with the good news of Jesus Christ. By His death and resurrection, Jesus offers true life and joy in a relationship with God. So our mission is to partner with parents in bringing children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and equipping them to share His love with others. We also believe that the Bible presents the best way to live. We believe that what the Bible says is true, is true. So, we are committed to teaching the whole Bible as God’s Word and instruction for our lives.

Columbia Presbyterian Church is proud to offer the Sharefaith Kids curriculum and Bible experience giving your child Biblically sound, Gospel focused teaching with incredible application, activities and more. Each lesson is made up of video time, where we tell the lesson and story time where the lesson is explained through slideshows, questions, and answers. Then the kids are given multiple activities such as coloring pages, puzzles, mazes, and through the class we make sure there is adequate time for prayer. Mom and dad can partake in the study during the week, making our approach, with Sharefaith Kids, something stellar, here at CPC.
Ages 6 weeks – 4 years
Childcare is provided for children ages 6 weeks- 4 years during Sunday school, Sunday morning worship, and Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting. Our volunteers are committed to love, care for, and pray with your children. At CPC we believe that every moment is a valuable opportunity to help our little ones learn. Therefore, we use music and play to engage toddler through Pre-K children in learning Bible stories and scripture.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Sunday School
During Sunday school children learn the truth of God’s Word in a variety of ways: large group multi-media story presentations, music, prayer, and small group discussions. The program is designed to apply the Bible to their daily needs in a tangible way.
Sunday Worship
During Worship Service we offer Poy-eh’-o Notes for our children. “Poy-eh’o ” is derived from the Greek term for “ I make ” or “ I do” . These notes were designed to help children engage in the sermon in a fun, hands-on way. Poy-eh’-o clipboards are located at the end of each pew.
Kid’s Connection
On Wednesday Night beginning at 6 PM, all children K- 5th Grade are invited to join us for energetic games and activities, interactive catechism lessons, group prayer, fun special events, and pizza.
Volunteers are vital to our ministry. There are many opportunities to equip the next generation to love and follow Christ. Contact Jennifer Willett for more information on how to get involved.
