At Columbia Presbyterian, our vision is to see lives shaped by the good news of Jesus. We believe the gospel brings real hope—restoring what’s been broken, healing what’s been hurt, and calling us into a new way of living. Our desire is to be a faithful and welcoming church in the heart of Columbia, one that helps people know Christ more deeply, grow together in grace, and live with purpose in our community and beyond. AWe are a gospel-centered church, which means the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of everything we believe and everything we do. It shapes our worship, our relationships, and how we live in the world. We don’t want to simply attend church—we want to be a church: a people who are learning to follow Jesus in ordinary, everyday ways.
Community matters deeply to us. We believe church should feel like a family—a place where you are known, supported, and challenged to grow. We’re learning how to walk with one another through joy and difficulty, to be honest about our need for grace, and to reflect the love of Christ in how we care for each other.
